Black Cat or White Cat?

Black Cat! An anime i watched pretty far back, (I think it was like 3 years back or more). But till now it still left a deep impression on me! I guess the fighting and all wasn't really memorable, but the story was. It had kinda a sad backdrop to the protagonist, Train Heartnet. He's a famous cold-hearted assassin for an underground organization that kinda has connections throughout the world. One day he met this girl on a rooftop, Saya, who is this happy go lucky bounty hunter. He started getting closer to her, and he started to lighten up and opened himself to her. She taught him the value of life and to treasure friendship. And ultimately, he fell for her (Obviously). Tragically, one day Train's fellow assassin/psychotic rival, Creed, felt that Train was losing his assassin heart due to Saya and murdered her. Train arrived too late but just in time to see Saya one last time.

Well, that was only the prologue to the whole story, the main story is Train's current life, a much more happy go lucky person, with a group of friends doing bounty hunter work after he quit the organization. Met many new friends, but he kinda never forgot about his past. Until one day he heard news of Creed and things started to stir again. Well, i guess the theme of the whole story was about Train's road to forget about his past and to gain a renewed freedom in life. The overall anime wasn't one of the best i've watched but it was definitely a decent one. I guess why this anime still kinda stuck to my mind was the sad background of the main protagonist. Hahaha! Or maybe because i'm currently reading To-Love Ru, written by the same mangaka... And also the ending song was great!!!

Kaichou wa Maid-sama!

My exam's just tmr, and i am still enjoying myself with anime!! Why!?!?!? Cuz i'm on exchange!!?!! WooOO!~ Lols. Anw, i watched the final episode of Kaichou wa Maid-sama today. Yeah, it ended last season alr, but i was kinda waiting for ggfansubs to release the rest of the episode. But guess it took too long for them to release, so i watched it on watchanimeon.com! My favorite anime streaming website!

Anw, it was quite a nice ending to the whole story, with Misaka finally confessing to Usui about her feelings. KYA!?!? Lolz, i'm a guy and i'm not supposed to say those kinda things, but it was sweet and nice! I think it was a pretty good shoujo story, with the maid cafe settings and the interesting male lead. Add in childhood friend Shintani and it became a love triangle. Haha! Its these kinda things that make girls squeal right? The only other shoujo anime i watched was lovely complex, and i think this one was definitely better than that, not to say love~con was bad in the first place.So... GO WATCH IT!!!!

Last day of school!

Yoooozzzzz!!!!!!
Its the last day of school! Damn awesome! lolz, ended with a presentation for marketing, haha! Guess its time to start studying for the exams on next week.. leisurely. Muahaha! Well, despite being so busy over the weekend, i managed to head down to AFA2010!

Though it was kinda late alr at like 5.30. Things were kinda wrapping up. And i didn't get to enter the maid cafe.. Damn.. Anw, lotsa of cosplayers over there yest, but the most amazing thing was the freaking long queue for some anisong performance. Didnt know what was that about, guess its some band from japan coming down to sing or something. If it were Nico Touches the Walls, or Larc' en~ciel then i would've bothered to find out. Monday! Got to clear my backload of anime! Otaku for life!

Gintama~

Gintama!! Dunno why this morning i suddenly had an urge to finish watching the remaining 8 eps of this series. Probably one of the most hilarious series i know of, above even School Rumble and FMP fumoffu. And the best thing, it's 201 eps long! Lols.. Well, i really hope a Gintama 2 comes out soon. They said they needed to wait for the manga to develop further before they start again. Cuz otherwise they'll have to do stupid fillers like what Naruto and Bleach does. Haha! Really love how this series always break down the 4th wall! Perhaps that is what makes this series so funny! That and their utterly senseless and crude jokes.. But at the end of the day, there's always a moral to each episode's story! NEO ARMSTRONG CYCLONEJET ARMSTRONG CANNON!!!

Ore no Imōto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai

Haha, just watched episode 3 of Oreimo! Think its an awesome anime! A story that is fresh, setting it apart from the numerous mediocre animes this fall season! Its not about incest mind you, the story's about this tsundere little sister, Kōsaka Kirino, with an obsession with eroges and animes, and has a bad relationship with her older brother, Kōsaka Kyōsuke. On one unfortunate day, she bumps into her older brother while rushing out of house, causing her to drop an eroge from her handbag! Didn't realize it and left the house, brother picks up the eroge and... well, the story kinda starts off from there. Kirino confesses to Kyosuke about her obsession and her brother starts to understand more of his sis and their relationship starts to warm up. As the story progresses, Kyosuke starts playing his role as an older brother and defends his sister's weird obsession.

Art-wise its definitely good, drawings nice and not disfigured like.. lols, nurarihyon? Voice acting is brilliant too! Kirino is voiced by this up and rising seiyu Taketatsu Ayana, who also voices in H.O.T.D, as alice, that small annoying little girl, and guess what! She's the voice of Ako from KissXSis! LOLZ, apparently she has something for brother-sister complex animes. Kyosuke's voiced bNakamura Yuuichi, who voices Gray in Fairy Tail! No wonder it sounds kinda familiar...

Well, its definitely not an action anime, and also not a love anime, kinda like a slice of life genre. If you want to watch something light-hearted, i thoroughly recommend this anime! Beats ecchi ones like hyakka ryouran this fall season. Otaku for life!~

Hi minasan!~
